HEAVY DUTY – BUILT IN BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
AMPTRON® Lithium batteries use a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) designed to automatically disconnect the charging or discharging circuits to prevent damage to the cells and internal electronics from abnormal operation and helps to ensure safe and accurate operation of the battery.

THE BMS PROTECTION FEATURES INCLUDE:
- Low Voltage Protection Switch: Automatically disconnects the discharge circuit to prevent damage to the cells if the battery drains below a pre-set voltage.
- Over Voltage Protection Switch: Automatically disconnects the charging circuit to prevent damage to the cells if the battery is being charged above a pre-set maximum voltage.
- Short Circuit and Over Current Protection Switch: Automatically disconnects the discharge circuit if the load draws currents above pre-set limits.
- Reverse Polarity Protection Switch: Automatically disconnects the charge and discharge circuits if a reverse polarity condition is detected.
- Thermal protection: Built-in thermal sensors will automatically disconnect the charge and discharge circuits when excessive temperatures are detected.

CELL BALANCING
The BMS balances the cells through top-end balancing and will discharge cells that exceed 3.65V during charging.

INTERNAL CELL SAFETY
THERMAL FUSE:
Our latest prismatic cell technology is manufactured with an internal thermal safety fuse between the anode and cathode that will break and disconnect in the unlikely event the cell would begin to overheat.

SAFETY VENT:
Each cell has a high-pressure safety vent that will flip open to release energy and prevent explosion.

FLAME RETARDANT ELECTROLYTE:
Our cells are manufactured with a flame retardant additive in our electrolyte.

BUILT IN PROTECTION SYSTEM
AMPTRON® Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery chargers have a built-in Protection System to prevent damage to the charger from almost any external accidental occurrence that would normally cause damage. The internal Protection System will automatically disconnect to prevent damage to the charger, and will automatically reconnect when the error condition has been resolved.

PROTECTION SYSTEM FEATURES
- Over Voltage Protection: When the charger output voltage exceeds the maximum charging voltage, the charger enters a standby state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
- Over Current Protection: When the charger output current exceeds the maximum charging current, the charger enters a standby state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
- Short Circuit Protection: When the charger detects a short circuit at output terminals, the charger enters a short-circuit protection state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting.
- Reverse Polarity Protection: When the charger detects that the polarity at the output terminals are reversed, the charger enters a reverse polarity protection state. It will restore to normal working conditions automatically after troubleshooting. This Protection System is designed to last throughout the life of the charger and provide reliable charging for thousands of cycles.

The monitor combo system kit is easy to install DIY. The meter is suitable for use in mobile and portable powerpacks and equipment; cars; boats; recreational vehicles; Offroad and 4×4 vehicles; e-bikes and many other applications. Here is a list of product features:
